"Fragility"

Sumy 2023

This series explores the fluidity of time in moments when life seems frozen. Flowers, as a symbol of beauty and tenderness, are juxtaposed with dynamic backgrounds reminiscent of the movement, fear, and tension we experience within.

The works were created during a period when war was raging outside, and fear and uncertainty reigned inside. The world became as fragile as glass, with the feeling that everything could disappear at any moment. This fragility of time and existence was felt every second, and yet the beauty of nature was what helped to hold on.

This series is an attempt to find harmony and beauty even in the darkest moments, to embrace movement and stillness simultaneously, to make the immobile come alive.
